Our Story

Yauck Seed Farm Ltd is a proud pedigree seed and commercial business operated by Kevin (that’s me) and Candace Yauck, located near Govan, SK. We grow Certified Seeds for retail and wholesale purchase, including canola, barley, wheat, lentils peas and flax.

Our history starts in 1971 when my uncle Arthur Yauck established our pedigreed seed business. Our first crops consisted of Neepawa Wheat, Bonanza Barley and Redwood 65 Flax. In addition, a small seed plant was built by Art and my Dad Irvine. In 1982 after graduating from the University of Saskatchewan with an Agricultural Diploma, I joined the business. Currently, we farm 6,850 acres of pedigreed seed and commercial crops.
